What to say ...this is the only place absinthe should be poured!!!

Always kind of a mixed bag with these glasses. The thickness tends to vary slightly from glass to glass and though they advertised as "heavy" none of the glasses in this order seem as thick as 2 that arrived in a previous order.

This natural variance does have it's charm though.. and the glasses look beautiful. The dose cup seems of proper size for the glass and they are heavy in construction and lend elegance to the table setting.

Positives:
+ Very elegant, simple design.
+ Perfect proportions for mixing any type of absinthe at any (good) dilution.
+ Thick, hard glass that makes it look sturdy and resistant to stresses.
+ Perfect size for the reservoir.

Negatives:
- A bit wider than expected from the images.

Overall, a very beautiful absinthe glass with perfect proportions for enthusiasts. It's also a very nice and elegant piece of art, with a simple design that makes it look very asesthetically pleasing. Not perfect, as it appears a bit wide, but probably the closest one can get to that standard. Highly recommended at four stars!

My wife and I LOVE this glass. It is very attractive and has the ideal proportions for mixing. Also, we like the historic character of the glass. Indeed, part of our enjoyment of absinthe is the link with the belle epoque.

This fine glass actualy looks smaller on the picture... it came absolutely unharmed to the east of the Slovak Republic, and it was a georgeous sight. It is truly nicely crafted and for my part of wiew, with a fountain, and an absinthe spoon, with a dash of true absinthe, a celebration of la belle epoque in any modern environment

A fantastic glass in both appearance and purpose. It holds the absinthe beautifully, making the louche far easier to observe from more perspectives. As it has a large reservoir, it is also very easy to clean. On the whole, a practical and aesthetic success.

Very elegant glass. It makes the absinthe taste great! Made from quite thick glass too, so I don't feel like if I have a few too many, that if I am a bit rough with it, it won't break.

Ein sehr elegantes Glas, das den Absinthe noch besser schmecken lässt. Aus stabilem Glas hergestellt, sodass man sich keine Sorgen machen muss, wenn man ein bisschen grob mit ihm umgeht. Es bricht nicht.

The glass is beautiful, however it does not stand heat. When I added cold water to my absinth (in flames) it got broken.

Hello Echo, I'm sorry to hear about your glass. In our FAQ we advise that absinthe should never be set on fire - http://www.absinthes.com/faq.php?faq=14§ion=25#43 - it's not at all the traditional way of preparing an absinthe, and it can damage the flavour of the absinthe as well. Not many glasses, hand or machine made, will necessarily survive the extreme and rapid temperature change of fire to ice, either.

We would always recommend this way to best appreciate an absinthe drink: pour one measure of absinthe into a glass and then drip three to five parts chilled water into it, over a spoon with a sugar cube if desired. Enjoy!

Tout c'est bien passé avec ma commande. Delais de livraison, securité de paiment, qualité etc. Je suis vraiment content.

je n'ai acheté que ces verres là (4) donc je n'ai pas énormément de point de comparaison, mais je dois dire que j'en suis très satisfait ! Il remplisse parfaitement leur fonction à savoir offrir avec classe un petit réservoir en plus du verre classique afin de doser parfaitement ses absinthes. Ils sont élégants, résistants et bien finis : du très bon travail !

Après une première commande qui était un cadeau de noël et qui a beaucoup plu, ces 3 verres n'ont fait que venir compléter le service.
Satisfaite donc.

Cette commande était un cadeau de noël (avec la Cuillère Apsinthion - Chrome et la Fontaine Antique I - 4 robinets), cadeau qui a été très apprécié donc je suis satisfaite. D'autant plus satisfaite que la livraison a été rapide et très bien emballée...
D'ailleurs j'ai complété la commande un mois après.

La fourniture proposée est très correcte, mais on voit trop
que ce produit est moderne. Par contre le prix est juste.

Il est vrai que le verre est assez joli. Les formes sont élégantes et cela se voit qu'il a été soufflé à la bouche. L'envoi pour moi a pris 4 jours (week-end compris), donc raisonnable.
Mais juste un petit défaut, je trouve dommage que l'artisan ou autre qui est à l'origine de cet réédition ait meulé aussi grossièrement le pied du verre. Cela enlève du charme et est un peu dommage pour le prix du verre.

Très beau verre, la forme est élégante et respecte la forme la plus classique du verre à réservoir.
On notera toutefois que ce verre est beaucoup plus léger que les antiquités, que son buvant est plus fin à bord plat.
Un verre qui pourra servir tous les jours, pendant que votre verre à dose antique restera à l'abri de tous risques dans sa vitrine.
Une marque de fabrication aurait été souhaîtable, afin de ne pas tromper un collectionneur débutant.

Cette commande était en fait un cadeau de Noël ... il a été beaucoup apprécié ... je suis donc toute à fait satisfaite.
De plus, les délais de livraison ont été respectés ... alors .... :o)
